Forward Brothers did a retrofit on my house August of 2018, I have a 5000 sq. ft. under roof built in 1996. They started by removing all the existing insulation which took three days, they spent the next 4 days spraying the new foam between the rafters. The difference is night & day, today for example we woke up to 30 degree temps outside but the house stayed 69 degrees without the heat even being on, but the best part is when it's really hot outside my A/C units don't run all day trying to keep the house cool, I actually sent Steve a video this summer about 2pm one afternoon when it was 95 outside and my A/C were not even running.

I have my boat stored inside a metal building which is on a concrete slab. In south Alabama during the day the heat buildup inside was like a furnace so I started researching different methods to insulate the building. A friend actually had the same situation and used spray foam insulation in his metal building. He told me he used Forwood Brothers Spray Foam Insulation and highly recommended them. So on his recommendation I gave them a call. I talked with Steve Forwood and he said he could come over that same afternoon to give me an estimate. In the past I've had bad experiences with contractors saying they would come by and never showing up. So I was surprised when he showed up when he said he would. He was very professional and spent a considerable amount of time explaining the process of what would be done. That same night he sent me an email with the estimate which I felt was reasonable and competitive. I called him to set up the job. Early on a Saturday morning Steve's brother, David, arrived with his crew. They were very professional and courteous. After David connected the power to my electrical panel he left. That told me then that he had a lot of confidence in his crew. They taped the electrical outlets and covered the doors and floor with paper. Two guys rotated off and on spraying foam 2" thick on the walls and ceiling. During the process they kept their trash picked up so it wouldn't blow all over the yard. When they were finished they cleaned everything up and even swept the floor. If you're thinking of spray foam insulation I highly recommend Forwood Brothers for their professionalism and knowledge of their product.

I was very pleased with the service that we received from Steve. He was courteous, prompt, efficient, did exactly what he said he would do when he said he would do it. Along with Steve, his associate, Michael, was also courteous, competent, and did a super job. They cleaned up very well after their work was finished. They provided us with 10-11" of R-30 insulation in our attic which is approximately 1500 square feet. I would highly recommend this company.
